Re: cRAP, Jewish or Otherwise - My Many Opinions!

Dear Eliott,
HAHAHA. Dinosaur status!!! So you like the Beatles? Paul McCartney is one of
my all time favourite bass players! Your music Prof must have loved you for
hipping him to the Beatles. By the way, I have a Master's Degree in music from
Mannes College. Instead of hanging my degree on a wall I lamenated it and made
it into a placemat. I pretty much play anything from classical music to
Hip-Hop. Since we've kind of wandered away from Jewish music here, why don't
you give me a list of the top 10 Klezmer CDs I should listen to. Anything from
early to current is cool.
Peace,
Ron

Dear Ron:

Thanks, but I'll pass. One of the rare pleasures of getting older is to
blissfully welcome dinosaur status.

Actually, to be honest, you remind me of me over thirty years ago, trying to
play a Beatles album for one of my music professors.

But do keep an open mind and try to get a musical education. We ALL need to
keep sharpening our ears throughout our lives.

And please stop using those double negatives. You ain't never gonna get a job!

Waxing--and waning--poetic,

Eliott Kahn
