Yes, it does.
But you also need to consider the fact that you're dealing with an issue
(Kol Isha) which might have different implications in different times.
'Tanur shel achnai' was a one-time decision. Sometimes halachic issues can
change over time. My favorite example- halachot of carrying on Shabbat as
they are laid out in the talmud versus how we interpret them today. It seems
to me that we've done lots of simplification because the complicated version
is just to much stuff for the average ba'al habos to handle.
Likewise here, possibly- maybe the siyagim on the siyagim need to come down
a little.
(required disclaimer: I'm really just stating my personal opinion on this
and not claiming to be any sort of expert- just some schmoe on the internet.
