i agree that one should counsel a couple about better choices for the
wedding. i know of one case where the couple strongly wanted whistle while
you work played as a march- they had met at disneyland. and have you ever
heard deutchland uber alles played? i have, they loved haydn and didnt know
what it really was. not to mention the wagner, which may be fine for
bayreuth but both the yidn and wagner shudder at its place at a chasene.
of course, how the counselling is done makes all the difference. i try to
stress education and kindess, and it usually works pretty well.
still abysmally out of the loop
