Of course at bottom it is a matter of taste, but Fiedman is too smooth, too 
glossy.  Perfection may be an asset in classical music, but not Klezmer (Hey, 
Zvi, that gives YOU a real advanage.)  Yitzhok Perlman, for the same reason, is 
not that great a Klezmer violinist.

Also, his arrangements invariably have him as the star, and the others in 
clearly accessory roles.  While the Clarinet is indeed the primary instrument, 
it is not as dominant as he makes it.

Also, some of his arrangements sound like Jewish Disneyland music, sort of like 
an auditory blueberrry bagel.

Hey, he's better than nothing.
