Hallo Henny,

The Galop is een dans die  - voor zover ik weet  - traditioneel Engels is,
maar ook in Nederland bekend was.
Wanneer je meer in deze richting zoekt kan ik verder kijken of ik nog wat
meer erover te weten kom.
