FW: Klezmer Bluegrass Fusion

Gideon:

It was I who mentioned the Livers. I have all their CD's -- at least the ones
sold at major U.S. outlets -- and they do not seem to have recorded any
klezmer-influenced bluegrass (or bluegrass-influenced klezmer) prior to
"Industry and Thrift." Given their overall creativity and eclecticism,
however, I am not surprised that they pulled that one out of their hat.

Someone on the list mentioned the Bad Livers' Klezmer-Bluegrass cut on their
new disc. I checked it out and it is excellent in their special irreverent
style. Does anyone know if they have done other klezmer tunes?.....
