Actually Rosenblatt can either refer to the petal of the flower or to the 
leaf of the stalk. "Rose" can be both: either the bloom or the whole plant.
It's a bit  different with Kirschenblatt. Kirschenblatt refers to the leaf of 
the berry and not to the bloom or the tree.
