RE: Famous Musicians of Jewish Origins

You're both right. The title was originally "Famous Musicians of a
Wandering Race" but it was changed to "Famous Musicians of Jewish Origin" in
the 1949 reprint. The Gratz library has both.

Give me a ring- I have a copy you can borrow. The title is not ?Famous
musicians of Jewish origin? but ?famous musicians of a wandering race? ?
much more in keeping with the mores of 1927.

  Hi

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of ?Famous Musicians of Jewish
Origins? by Gdal Saleski that is available for lending? Does anyone have
any written material on Classical Jewish Musicians or on the Israeli
Philharmonic Orchestra?

  Thanks

  Laoise
