Re: Cohan: not a Jew.

Speaking of Cohan and hotels, my great Aunt Ruth was a model and actress and 
a chum of Mr. Cohan's.

According to my cousin, they went away on weekends together with his theatre 
crowd.  On one occasion they were all at a hotel in the Poconos.  When the 
hotel manager or someone in charge found out that Ruth was Jewish she was 
asked to leave.

BTW, I have heard from a few sources including my cousin that Cohan spoke 
nealry fluent Yiddish!
