Re: Cataloguing: Transliterating Hebrew: Bentsiyon?

Talking about "Sholem Aleichem", I have a question about that. I'm
conducting a piece called "Shalom Aleichem" by Gil Aldemá, an Israeli
composer as I've been told. I was wondering about the mix of Hebrew and
Yiddish, thinking it should be either Shalom Alechem or Sholem Aleichem, but
according to my siddur Mr. Aldemá is right. Can anyone explain? Moreover, is
there someone who can tell me more about thos composer?
Thank you.
By the way, you haven't heard from me before, I'm Carla from the Netherlands
(but not from Amsterdam though)
