Re: Jewish music performance series

Jordan,

When you write "There are many nuances within the Observant community"
do you refer only to the Orthodox "Observant community'?

When you write "I feel that my choice is legitimate WITHIN Halacha"
does that mean that you do not accept the Halakhic principle of the
rabbi as the mora d'atra of the community, the rabbinic authority to
render Halakhic decisions?

Again, what texts are being interpreted?

Am I correct that your personal conclusions on the matter of Kol
Ishah, at least insofar as secular performance is concerned, is
identical with Wolf's?

Bob
