Unfortunately as far as Kol Isha is concerned it will be a lose-lose situation,
since male chauvinism is embedded in Sephardi Minhag separate and apart from
Sephardi Halacha and/or Halachic observance. I use "Sephardi" here loosely to
refer to those Jewish communities who hail from Muslim countries. I realize
that I'm painting people with a broad brush with this assertion and that
exceptions will abound, but the point needs to be made nevertheless.
