2) Does the term "feygele" have any particular associations with Jewish 
folklore?
3) I've heard that "goldene pave" symbolizes Jewish folklore. Is this true, and 
if so, why? What's the source?

And a question on a completely different topic:
Does anyone know of ballads which are included in both the English/Scottish and
