Hi Yakov
How about
early 80s pop
Weird-a** stuff played on the theremin and other electronic instruments
Stockhausen's Stimmung (just *sounds* electronic)
Russian Orthodox church music preferably sung by a choir during a service
(just turn up)
Gregorian chant
South American dance music: tangos, salsa, and especially CUMBIAS from
Colombia. Never mind the absurdist songs where the band make horse noises, go
for the heart-stoppingly tragic numbers (no puedo vivir sin ella is always a
good start). The best CDs usually have a woman in a string bikini on the
cover.
Brian Eno
Tibetan monks
The Persuasions
The howling of wolves
