Check out Roni Music website out of Sweden.  They have an excellent Slow 
speed CD transcriber that allows you to slow down by 400%, speed up, change 
pitch, etc.  Reasonable price.

Also, Marantz has an excellent selection of portable cassette decks with half 
speed and other useful options.  See their website.  Don't let the prices 
scare you.  The prices shown are MSRP.  The real price will be substantially 
discounted once you are able to locate a Marantz dealer in your area.  It 
usually will be some type of electronics retailer that carries professional 
sound systems.
