As for Festival of Light itself, while the sneaky marketing ploy of a largely
non-Hannukah CD was bothersome, I enjoyed the music on the disc.  The mix of
pop and experimental music on Jewish themes was interesting and sometimes
quite compelling.  Most of all, it wasn't LITE pop for Barbara Steisand and
Kenny G.  I'd take Peter Himelman, David Broza, the Klezmatics, John Zorn and
Wally Brill any day of the week.
