Re: Adon Olam

If memory serves, there are over 2,000 settings of Adon Olam already, or
so I've read. The choir at my synagogue knows seven or eight different
ones (we once did an oneg shabbat program at which we performed all
seven of them to make a point about the diversity of Jewish liturgical
music or something like that). 

None of which should come as a surprise; after all, how many composers
have done requiem masses?
