Aside from the performing and classroom music teaching I do, I am a voice
teacher and have studied vocal production for a number of years.  I could
give you a few tips on technique, but would suggest 10 or so lessons with a
good vocal instructor who would be willing to concentrate on technique
rather than classical repertoire.  I have found that my students grow a lot
in the first 10 sessions.  I know it could be costly, but it is a great
investment in yourself as a singer.
