Re: "Rock of Ages"?

While it's still (barely!) Chanukah, I've meaning to ask the following:

Does anyone know who wrote the (English, obviously) words to "Rock of Ages"? 
  When?

(Google leads to a "Rock of Ages, Cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee," 
written by one Augustus Toplady:  "one of the most popular hymns ever 
written"!  Needless to say, that's *not* it!

What is?
