Hi everyone,
I just wanted to remind you that I will be performing with my fabulous group at
the annual Michigan Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring's Yiddish Concert in the Park.
The concert is "Songs My Bubbe Should Have Taught Me".
The wonderful musicians joining me will be Steven Greenman, violin; Walt
Mahovlich, accordion; Norman Tischler, saxes, clarinet, and flute; and Dr. Mel
Arnoff, piano.
Date: Sunday, July 15, 2001
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Rothstein Park
Oak Park, Michigan 48237
behind (sort of) the JCC on Ten Mile Road, just east of
Greenfield Road (near I-696 and the Greenfield exit).
Other specs: No tickets, money or reservations are required for the
concert . Of course, you'll want enough money to buy my brand new CD. (Big,
shameless plug!)
Good idea to bring lawn chairs. There is a park (with play
equipment) within a block, on the same campus. You might want
to picnic.
