Re: VCR Alert: Klezmer on PBS-TV this weekend



The synagogue is just up the block from us, but it's not our shul.  I
encourage those who are interested to read the article.  As Orthodox
synagogues go, Avi Weiss's is one of the most innovative in terms of
the participation of women.  But remember that this is still an
orthodox congregation -- for example, it has a mehitzah (albeit low
and 50/50) and, I am reasonably certain, observes the principle of Kol
Isha.
