Dear Simon:
I just read your "long note." You have every right to be pissed off. It
is time again, that your efforts and those of others who collect and
assemble all of this material...that is so helpful to all of us...be vocally
appreciated. People do appreciate yours and others work. We do say so, but
we need to say so MORE often!!! As for Mr. Pasternak...he was out there
doing research when I was just learning Margaretkelech at age 3.
In defense of some people... I would include myself in this category...our
eyes are bigger than our wallets. We just need to remember that this is your
business and you need to make a living from it in order to stay in business.
P.S. I've only been posting on this list for a little over a year. I
believe that my first posting was that I was looking for Velvel Pasternak's
books. I thought..oh I'll be lucky if there is even ONE still in print. You
answered me back in 2-3 minutes max. with the answer that yes...I got them
all! Boy, I found that so impressive. My wallet just has not been equally
impressive at this point in order for me to order from you. My optimism
springs eternal that it will be.
As Always,
A Gut Shabbos and A Gut Pesach,
Trudi the G
