Thanks, Reyzl, for your most instructive post; it's a keeper.
People may be interested to know that in vernacular Yiddish
a "zak-fayfer" (besides being a bagpipe-player) is also
a "bullsh*tter" (or, stated more politely, -- a "blowhard".)
