Re: schmaltz, pandering and Klezmatics



Abe (Avrom Ovinu -- our ancestor Abraham) didn't ask for less than five,
maybe because he and God understood that for the sake of the four actual
persons, (lot and his family) that God would not spare Sodom.  For one I
would translate too, but the number 5 was the precedent in Torah that I was
hoping you would recognize.
