Many (well, maybe a few) people on this list have websites and some of them
put the URLs in their signatures.  If we all do that, then the information
we want others on the list to know about us is always ready at hand without
taking up lots of space on the list itself. That way newcomers can have
access to the bios and interests of long time list participants.

Other lists, such as Mendele, archive people's bios, but I think this way
is simpler and doesn't require any more work on the part of the list owner.
