Re: New NPR national Jewish Music Radio program

Leonard Nimoy's involvement with Jewish projects goes back at least to
1982 when he performed as Rav Katz in "The Mysterious Golem", an audio
drama. (JRT Records JRT 10026).

I can also attest to Nimoy being a mentsch as the result of my
eavesdropping. I had a stage seat to a performance of Equus. At
intermission, immediately upon leaving the stage, Nimoy profusely
apologized for going up on a line to an actor who was playing a minor
role. He certainly didn't play the star with the top billing, which
is what he was.
