RE: why Jews became fiddlers

I agree with Jeff Schanzer his powerful conjecture that the microtonal nature
as a good connection between Jews and the Violin.   

A question I have is why, there are so many well-known Jewish Musicians -
especially Violins, Conducting, and the Piano?
