Who is putting you on the back of the bus?

Somebody posted that it was sad that Reform Jews might feel more comfortable
in a liberal Xtian service than at an orthodox shul. I remarked that when I
visit the Lutherans, they don't make me sit in the back.
Our (teeeny-tiny-can't-get-a-minyan-except-for-HHDs) orthodox shul here
(yes, even in Fargo it's two Jews, three opinions) doesn't have a mehitzah.
They just make the women sit in the back. I've tried to take my religious
school class there (what's the point in teaching comparative religion if I
can't show them comparative Judaism?) but they can't get a minyan for
services. (Won't count me, won't count the young women in my class.) To heck
with 'em!
The most ironic thing is that there are a bunch of REALLY frum guys in West
Fargo who work as shochets for Federal Beef (they slaughter and ship out - we
can't buy kosher meat here) who won't set foot in the shul because there's no
real mehitzah. They fly to Mpls/St.Paul for Shabbat. To heck with them, too!
