Re: Cantor Sirota

Both sides of my grandmother's family were Sirota's. I think they spelled
with Sirote but a lookup on any site on names will give a variety of Polish
spellings as well. There is a picture of the one fruhm member of the clan
back then, a Nossan Sirote with the caption 'Hazzan'.

Does anyone know of the geneology here?

The daughter of Isaac and Sara Sirote, Bertha/Beila married Avraham Abba
Greenwald who gave birth to my mom. They lived in Birmingham Alabama after
emmigrating from Russia.
