"Where is the Yiddish culture of France ?"

I don't live in Paris but I go fairly regularly and also follow all the
cultural events via papers and the Net. Talila is very well-known in Paris
and has a duo show with Ben Zimet which usually runs on and off most of the
year (or so it seems...) and in all the FNAC
(huge media store with branches in main towns in France) there is a Yiddish
section in the World Music department.
As for "friendly" Yiddish venues, there is the Maison de la Culture Yiddish.
I'll look up the website and details and post them later. There's also a
place called Train de Vie which is a restaurant with a basement where there
is music...

Love to all
Joan (in Milan)
