Flying Bulgar Klezmer Band's album "Fire" has an arrangement of Abraham 
Reisen's poem about the ravages of war ("Milkhome," sung by Adrianne 
Cooper) with the band's playing of Kol Nidre as a prelude, interlude and 
postlude.  Frankly, I am somewhat disturbed by the implications of the 
arrangement, i.e. the association of Kol Nidre with death and destruction.
