  in the lower left hand section, there are a group of musicians with the 
women,  and then someone carrying an  object under his right arm.  It looks 
like he is cranking it with his left hand.  Is that some sort of musicial 
instrument?

  The round object behind the players arm might be a fan, suggesting that the 
instrument is a hand-cranked barrel organ.
