Here is why!
I am doing a French Cabaret show on the subject of prostitution. the French
songs on this subject are among the best of the repertoire. I will include a
few Kurt Weill's songs, a few American (Cole Porter). And I thought of adding a
Yiddish song too. And may be an Argentine one.
It's called 'Les Demoiselles de Pigalle" and it will be at the Freight and
Salvage in Berkeley on June 30th at 8PM.
Thanks for your answers,
Voila!
Sylvie

Hello everybody!
I am looking for Yiddish songs about prostitution and street life in
general. Any lead?
Thanks,
Sylvie
