A band that was very popular in 1973-1975. Their albums were the first Israeli
albums to outsell the Beatles, in Israel.
But only the first album was really great. They went after the 15-year-old
market very quickly.
But the writing was quite clever for its time, and the music was good,
if not as good as the band their lead guitarist was in earlier, "Apocalypse."
And I don't know that they've aged as well as the Peter Paul and Maryish "High
Windows," of a few years earlier (one of Arik Einstein's first bands).
Classic Israeli rock, though, for that, listen to the Tammuz album. First band
to get the audience actually up and dancing. Light show, even!
Imnsho (in my not so humble opinion).
