RE: Yiddish Theater

I am sorry that I can't. There are so many theater recordings that it is
difficult to recommend anthologies over recordings of individual artists.
I haven't heard all the anthologies and so can't speak about them. I
haven't even heard all the Yiddish recordings I myself own. (I buy loads
at Jewish thrift shops, Brooklyn Jewish bookstore sales, WC bookstore
sales,...) The two cassettes I heard in my own collection were ok. Can't
recommend them especially. I would go with individual stars, Aaron
Lebedeff, Molly Picon, Jennie Grossinger, Peysakhke Burshteyn, ... too many
to name. I think Simon would be very helpful in this department.

Reyzl,

Would you recommend any currently available anthology?

Bob
