Yiddish Theater

A friend is interested in a collection of original Yiddish theater
recordings for use in teaching a college course.

Any recommendations?

There are several klezmer collections on my shelves and some Jewish
music collections including some Yiddish theater, but I don't recall
any collections exclusively of original Yiddish theater recordings.
If there is no such collection available, why not?  Maybe someone can
put such a collection together.
