Ditto everything Trudi said - plus, I really can't agree with the idea that 
we should just focus on our own stuff & "leave the goyim and thier silly 
holidays to

when these "silly holidays" are decreed by an arm of the government, they are 
no longer silly but dangerous and unconstitutional.  and I believe that is an 
opinion that not only Jews & others from religious minorites can agree on, 
but many fair-minded, thoughtful members of the majority religion as well.
