Re: student question

Here are the details for that monograph/senior essay:
Finegold, Eliezer M. "Musika Mizrahit: From the Margins to the
Mainstream." Cambridge: Harvard College Library, 1996. 41 pp.

It's #2 in the "Harvard Judaica Collection Student Research Papers" series
published by the Harvard College Judaica Division of exceptional senior
essays and other similar student material. Note that these are the same
people who published Seroussi's pamphlet/article.

And for what it's worth, a collection of essays on Jewish music written by
students in Kay Shelemay's recent Jewish Music class is coming out very
soon; so for those interested, stay in touch with them!

Your best way to contact them, in my opinion, would be to call. Try finding
the number through Harvard University Information: (617) 495-1000, and ask
for "The Judaica Division at Widener Library." They should be able to patch
you through.

Be well.
Judah.
