According to the Tara reissue of Idelsohn's Thesaurus of Hebrew Oriental
Melodies, Vol 8-10:
Vol 5 was dedicated to music of German Jews of the 18th century (was that a
typo by Tara? shouldn't that be 19th century?)
Vol 6 was dedicated to music of the Jews of Southern Germany.
These would originally have been published around 1932. I don't know if
they include any folk music, but if the contents of vols 8-10 are any
indication, then the answer would be yes.
