I like the satirical take-off on this song called "Dem Gonifs Yichis" (or as 
the YIVO folks say, "YiKHis.")  Your mother greases wagon wheels, your aunt 
is a bath house attendant, your brother sits in prison and your sister ran 
off with a cossack, etc.  
The only recording I've heard is by the Klezmorim from Streets of Gold, I 
think (or was it East Side Wedding?).  OK, so here's the questions: Has 
anyone recorded it before then or since?  Does anybody care?
