The problem of counterfit music in Israel in not new. For years, you could go 
to the "old bus station" in Tel Aviv and get copies-right down to the cover 
and imprints on the cases-of all the popular artists. Of course, the quality 
was not always very good, but they did a thriving business.
As far as the counterfiet Cds, they are being manufactured on the West Bank, 
but I'll bet you that there is a lot of Israeli money behind that.
