RE: Brit Bat

Call the Jewish Women's Resource Center in the National Council of Jewish Women
office at 9 E. 69 Street, in Manhattan. (Is it 212-535-5900???) They must
have an email address too but I don't have it. They have many, many samples
of Brit Bat ceremonies.

Subject: Brit Bat

Chevra,

I have the happy responsibility of planning a Brit Bat for my newborn baby
daughter, and would would appreciate it if anyone could suggest sources of
appropriate songs (and readings.)

Also, I understand there is a Sephardic custom called the Seder Zeved Bat,
or "Celebration for the Gift of a Daughter" and would be very interested in
any information or a book reference.

B'shalom,

Joel
