Israeli National Anthem Alternative

Could somebody please remind me of some Israeli history.  I seem to
remember that there were two nominees for the national anthem of Israel -
Hatikva, and another (very popular) Israeli volksong.  Could somebody out
there please tell me what the name of that folksong was?
