I have to agree with the Cantor. No need to leave the list in disgust. It's
such a gesture! It almost seems like an acting-out of frustrations and
hostility that have nothing to do with the list, just like some of Wolf's
postings do. I personally  have been interested in a lot of what's come out
of the debate, in spite of its often petty rhetoric. But there are plenty of
things that come in that I throw away without reading, like Naomi's third
complaint and any further ones. And this list is such a great resource at
times that quitting it seems a little like cutting of one's nose to spite
one's face. Or grindstone. Or whatever.

Example: Thank you so much, Dan and Eric, for the info on the Barry Sisters
and "Eshes Chayel". I have yet to follow up on the research leads, but I'm
going to the Asher Library at the Spertus Institute today to look for the
book mentioned among Dan's discography. And Eric, if you know how I could get
in contact with Claire by mail... well, do you? And could you let me know?
