It would seem that if one person from each of the newsgroups spammed, on
the average, would send an E-mail complaint to the posters of each of the
messages on this thread, they'd soon be inundated with enough complaints
that they might give up. (Don't engage them in discussion; that would only
satisfy their craving for attention. Simply request that they stop.)

Note the Followup-To: line in this post, which will send all responses to
it into the bit bucket; this is my attempt not to continue the problem
myself beyond the degree necessary to suggest a remedy.
