This is just from memory:
Shlomit Aharon is an extremely talented performer. Until - it must have
been about 1989 - she was performing in a trio called Hakol Over
Habibi, which included her husband. They (with her as the lead vocalist)
have done some very accomplished stuff -much of it leaning on Jazz or
R&B- and about 1979 or 1980 they came around 6th in the much maligned
Eurovision song contest with a song called Halayla. Some time about last
year she brought out her first solo album in Israel, which I found to
have a rather weak selection of songs (I can't remember its name,
unfortunately) but she gave it a great delivery.
