Thanks so much, Meris. I've been able to read fairly well for years, and
occasionally a light bulb would go on during a service or a song and I'd
realize what it meant. However, I love words, so just ferreting out the
roots from words  that have prefixes and suffixes has been a ball. The only
(temporary) down side is that I keep stopping in the middle of a prayer to
analyze words and decipher meanings!

I do hope to go on to Modern Hebrew, after I get more proficient with this
stuff.
