I listened to a TOFA'AH CD which was given to me by one of my members a few
years ago. I think that it is great..I grew
up Orthodox and we didn't listen to women singers because of the "Kol Isha"
issue. While I respect people who abide by that ruling, I feel that they are
missing out on listening to the wonderful women singers of today. I've heard
many of the women singers on "the list" sing at CAJE or at other venues and
I'm truly inspired by
your gifts. I feel sorry for those who will not allow themselves the
opportunity to hear the beauty of a woman's voice.
