[HANASHIR:14864] Watson Fellowship

Hello everyone!

This is an unusual request for this group (hope it's okay Adrian) but I would 
like to appeal to my friends and acquaintances out there in Jewish cyberland. 
 My niece Lindsay Berg has been awarded a Watson Fellowship which funds a 
year of travel for her outside the U.S. where she will be researching JEWISH 
FOOD!  She will be interviewing Jews of all ages to record their stories and 
their 
recipes - such a cool idea!

If you live or have Jewish connections in Montreal, Greece, South Africa, or 
Australia/New Zealand and could provide contact names in those Jewish 
communities, I would really appreciate it.  If you email me privately 
(soundsrite (at) aol(dot)com) I will forward your messages on to Lindsay and 
she will take it from 
there.  She could use anything from names of people to interview, to 
suggestions 
of places to stay (she can rent a place in each country for 2-3 months each), 
to offers of rides from the airport, etc.

can respond to my request!!!
