[HANASHIR:14855] RE: "Pop Bands Whose Beat Is Orthodox and Hip"



Reb Shlomo's (z"l) influence continues to be felt across the Jewish musical
spectrum. Soulfarm and Moshav are just two more examples of how boundaries
need not be boundaries. Groups like Soulfarm, Moshav, Dan Nichols &
e18hteen, and Rick Recht and his band, et al,  continue to help Jewish youth
maintain Jewish connections to their musical worlds. Parents of orthodox
youth are permitting, perhaps even encouraging their children to go hear
Soulfram and Moshav. Would that more youth from the various liberal Jewish
strands listen to the work of the many artists on the contemporary Jewish
music scene. Ken y'hi ratson.
